Friends and neighbors began to hire Andy Maier to decorate their homes when he was twelve years old. A fourth generation Long Islander, Andy grew up in an artistic family. His father refinished antiques, sketched and painted, and sculpted elaborate ice cream cakes. His mother created and sold unique handmade crafts, growing the business over the years into a popular antiques and accessories shop in town.
